Syria’s parkour gymnastics team won a gold and a bronze medal at the first Asian Men’s Parkour Championship held in Amman, thanks to athletes Mohammad Al-Barghash and Wissam Al-Abed.
The Syrian Parkour Gymnastics Team achieved remarkable success by winning one gold and one bronze medal at the First Asian Men’s Parkour Championship held in Amman, Jordan.<br>
Athlete Mohammad Al-Barghash claimed the gold medal, while Wissam Al-Abed won the bronze in the speed event.<br>
Additionally, André Semaan secured fifth place in the freestyle category.<br>
The championship continues until the 21st of this month.<br>
Attorney Youssef Al-Tabbah emphasized the importance of this achievement, stating that it strengthens the position of parkour as a legitimate competitive sport rather than just a hobby or exhibition, and that it represents a source of national pride for Syria, placing the country on a modern and evolving sports map.<br>
